Newbie, too

Hi all :D

Just got here. I thought I'd introduce myself. I've been homeschooling for over two years now and can't imagine life any other way. I have four, beautiful children. Three girls and one boy. Their ages are ten, five, three, and five months. I live on a small farm in deep east Texas. We raise dairy goats and chickens and lots of other little critters.

I joined here hoping to meet others like myself(and maybe some not so like myself). I know I'm still pretty new at homeschooling and look forward to finding valuable advice from those who've been there and done that. I also look forward to just making good friends. :love:

Oh, how cool to live on a farm. That must be an invaluable experience for your children for sure!!! Hi, I hs my 2 children and we've just finished our 3rd year. I love homeschooling as well!!! Glad you found our forum!

Hi, Missy. Yes, I must admit, we do have our fair share of fun(and work) around here. I know the kids really enjoy it, especially when new babies are born.

Malissa, Welcome to the board. My name is Kris and I am from Texas too. The sunny hot, dry south Texas right on the Ocean. I have been homeschooling for 5 years and love it alot. I have two dd's whom are 13 and 11. Welcome to the board. Can't wait to hear some of your ideas. Join in the fun.

Thank you Kris. It was hot and dry here for a while. Now, thanks to recent rain, it's hot and wet.
I look forward to hearing from you. It sounds like your girls are just ahead of my oldest daughter. I'm sure you can give me some sound advice. Maybe you can keep me ahead of the game. :D
