New to the Forums....

Well YAY. Now I am in the right place, I suppose. LOL I came over from the AtoZ teacher site after someone pointed out to me there was an entire forum dedicated to home school.
I am Janet (~J~). Twenty-nine years old, mother of 4, wife of 11 years to the luckiest man alive (just ask him! LOL). I began homeschooling my oldest, Jayde (she's 11), in January of this year and I could not be happier with the results thus far. My husband and I made a conscious decision to home school our children after we realized that they can't get the type of education we'd like them to have in public school. This first year has been a challenge, but rewarding in every sense. I am now proactively involved in my child's education, woo whoooo!!
I look forward to getting to know everyone and thank you in advance for having me here.

Welcome, I'm Amy and I am hs my 11 yr son. I have been hs for 2.5 years now. And loving almost every minute of it. My son doesn't miss ps at all and he is so much more comfortable learning at his own pace. We also get to avoid alot of other issues and my son is learning the right way to handle things through me not his peers. Nice to meet you and we will more then likey be speaking again.
