Hello! Let me introduce myself. I'm Sheila and I am 38 and have homeschooled for 7 years. I have had my struggles with schooling at home, but all in all, it's been a positive experience. We've just completed the year and am testing this week. I am looking forward to being a part of this forum and gaining support and knowledge. Off for now!

Hey! Thanks to all those who welcomed me! I can't wait to get to know you and hear your homeschool stories. I hope to be encouraged and well as to encourage. I always like to know what kind of curriculum homeschoolers use. If you would like, let me know. Nice to meet all of you!

Hello Sheila it's wonderful to meet you and your family. My name is Kris and right now I am from Texas and we are living in a RV I have been homeschooling my girls for 5 years and we love it. We use Abeka for our curriculum and love it. But, plan on making some changes this fall, going to check out lif Pac's heard anything about them. My girls are 13 and 11 so I need 6th grader and 8th grader.

Hey Kris, Life Paks are my life! lol, well for the past 9-10 years they have been!~
Ask me any questions!
I find them very good for keeping things orderly and regulated for how much needs to be done... I check what book we are on against how many weeks left because each book takes appoximately 2-3 weeks to complete and thats how I knwo if I am on time or not.

Welcome...I am fnishing up my first year and really love it. We are still considering cirriculum for next year...it's taking me awhile to figure what works best for my kids! I am leaning toward ACE for math right now.
