What does referrals mean?

I'm really curious now...

When you look at your profile (and that of some other members) in some cases there is a number by your referal thingy... does that mean I did something wrong or a post of mine was reported (not that it matters)? Just wondered... (it wouldn't surprise me if one of my posts was reported because I did go over board a time or two ;) , but some others do suprise me...)

When people sign up, I think there is a blank asking if someone referred them to the forum. I think I remember you having one because R.B. (or one of his many aliases) put your name in that blank when he signed up.

Oh gosh... who would have thought RB of all people would have used my name... :roll: One would have thought that with my attitude then (and sometimes now), I would be the last one to have my name on their "referred by" list :lol:
