Can you unsubscribe to a thread?

Can you unsubscribe to a thread that you no longer want to keep getting emails for. I can do this on another forum, but I don't see it on this one.

When you get your e-mail notification for a thread, look down at the bottom. It has a link for unsubscribing to "this" thread, and also a link for unsubscribing to ALL threads. You click on that link, and it's done.

Sorry to hear you have had a bad experience here. Many have left due to that. That is one reason I don't come too often too.

I haven't particulary had a "bad experience." I just don't want to keep getting emails on a thread that went south. They never seem to end back up where they started. That's all.

Did you find out how to do it Liz. I am glad to hear you aren't going to leave us.
Some times things can get tough but you just have to ignore them and go on with your life. Other then a few people once in awhile that come in and want to start something. This board is a wonderful board and there are alot of wonderful ladies in here. Wish we alittle closer I would love to get together with many of them and chat.
But, this will have to do until someone wins the lottery. LOL

Yes, it is something you can do or not do as you wish. And as such, it's also something yuo can do or not do as you wish.

You can also control your subscriptions through the User CP. All your settings are there. It's on the navigation bar (first link on the left). Here's a direct link:

On that page you can select which threads to remain subscribed to. To change your email notifications, click on Edit Options in your User CP. To never get email notifications, you can adjust the Default Subscription Mode to 'Do not subscribe'

Oh, Amanda, I really like that link. It let's you look at all of the threads you have posted to at the same time and unsubscibe to any or none. Very good.
