first of all, i'm not a mom...hahah
i'm an 8th grader who started homeschooling roughly a year ago. i mostly teach myself, but my case is kind of special. my parents have an education center, so there are teachers who teach me certain classes and things. do i like it? i guess...i'm going ahead in math, (doing precalc&trig right now) but i really need to catch up on other subjects.
im applying for prep schools in the east, and ill get my decisions in less than a week. well, thats about it for now. hi!!!! ;)

Sounds like you have an unusual way of learning. Not exactly a classroom education and not totally independent either. Maybe the best of both worlds. Welcome. I look forward to your input on some of the subjects here.
