Another ER visit...

Well, Preston isn't doing as well as expected. Yesterday, we took him back to the pediatrician for a recheck. She sent us to an ENT because he had pain behind his ear (thought infection might have spread). He was such a horse's rear end, but that is another story. He sends us on to the Children's Hospital for evaluation. They did blood work and gave him IV fluids, antibiotic and anti-nausea meds. He threw up Thursday night AGAIN. Today, we are just trying to rest and eat some again. This has been the worst bug I've seen. He lost about five pounds this week from it.

Keep him in your prayers if you will guys. I appreciate it!

So, how is Preston?? Any new developments? I am praying he does better real soon. I have had two of my kids in the hospital, I know how awful that can be.

He's slowly improving. This has been a really bad couple of weeks. His ears are better and he is able to keep food down. He still has headaches and tummy pain, but overall he's better. Thanks for asking about him.

I know how it feels to have a sick child. When my ds was very very sick I just wanted to cry. It bothers us moms more than it does the kids. Praying here too.

Thanks everybody. He's doing so much better. Still has the stuffy nose and headaches but overall he's so much better.
