New homeschool mom

Hi! My name is Maureen. I currently hmeschool my 11 year old daughter. I also have an 8 year old daughter in PS and a 1 year old baby boy. We began homeschooling in November and are just now getting into a routine that works for us. Mainly, letting go of most of the text books and enjoying learnig as is comes naturally.
I love to find new and exciting things to make homeschooling fun for all of us and I REALLY hope to bring my other daughter home for 4th grade next year.

Welcome, I hs my 11 year old grandson. I've been hs since he's been in K. We have used Abeka DVD's. They were not working out very well with him, so.... I've changed some things this past month and he's been doing much better. Again, welcome and enjoy.
