Hi I am new here. I was referred to this site back during the summer by Vicky. She is a friend of my sisters mother in law. She said that you ladies can help me answer my questions.

Welcome along catwoman (guessing by your name, I can see one of the reasons why you would be friends with Vicky - her love for cats is obvious).

I'm Brenda, wife of Tracy's (11 years) and mother of three energetic but wonderful boys - Christian 13 (14 this month), Andrew 10 (11 in February) and Noah 7 (8 in August).

I was blessed to able to home school Andrew twice now (short term both times) and we were in a critical decision mode just before Christmas again about what to do... in the meantime, I was offered a full time job (which we desperately needed) so we have decided to stick it out with the public school for the remainder of this year  and in the fall the boys will all go to a Christian based private school in Houlton Maine (we live close to the border of ME).

I hope you enjoy the forum and will learn lots while you are here.

Welcome, Catwoman! I'm homeschooling my son (just turned 6) and daughter (almost 5) both in Kindergarten right now. This is our first "official" year of hsing!

You'll LOVE this site! Many wonderful ladies with great advice and answers. Best of all, we all can lean on each other and learn from each other.

Best wishes in your homeschooling adventure!

Welcome, Catwoman! (Brings back to me playing "Batman" when I was a kid; I always was either Batgirl or Catwoman, LOL!)

Brenda, I hadn't heard that you had made that decision! Hope it works out for you; I can imagine HS'ing would be difficult while working full-time!

I am homeschooling my daughter 3 1/2. We are right now just starting to learn the letters and numbers. She already knows most of her colors.
Brenda I didn't know she liked cats. I don't know her personally
