You know - I think God really knew what he was doing. These new kittens are so relaxed and loving where Shadow was high maintenance and quick with the claws. And they have such a good temperment in general, we all just adore them. I haven't quite fallen "in love" with them yet, but I think I am getting there - they are too cute and sweet not to love!

How beautiful!!!
We got a second one b/c the first one had been diagnosed with a degenerative disease, and it would only be a matter of time. Then, when we did put the first one down, I realized that two REALLY wasn't that much more work than one.... So we do have two that run around, chasing each other, and adding to our chaotic household. But I wouldn't want it any other way!!!
Enjoy your new babies!!!

I never had two kittens at the same time, and they are so cute together. They sleep all entwined, and they look like the ying-yang symbol when they cuddle like that! Even my dh is loving them, which cracks me up.
I would highly recommend 2 kittens to anyone who is looking for a pet!

Oh, sorry! Mine are dogs, rather than cats, but.... Do yours chase each other around the house? (Especially at night, when you're trying to sleep, lol....)

Well we had two cats and that was perfect for me. We had a fluffly black one that came to us as a stray, and we had a little white and tabby spotted kitten (who was a kitten of a cat we used to have). Well that was great for me but then my friend moved and she had taken one of the kitten from my litter but couldn't take it with her to the new place so now I have three and if someone doesn't give in soon and quit trying to be queen or king of the castle here I'm afraid that someone will have to go! I can only take so much growling and hissing....the only hard part will be deciding which cat goes.
