that we can have a baby if I'll let him deliver it! (Meaning, in essence, he gets to catch.)
When I mentioned it to dh, he gave SIL a dirty look and isn't giving me a straight answer. (Well, not too dirty of a look. She obviously wasn't supposed to tell me! )
Anyway. I found him a birthing center website to read. :D
Y'all keep prayin! *giggle*
(Is it fair that I have y'all's prayers as my secret weapon? )

Oh wow great! Praying for you. I tried so hard two years ago to get hubby on board with another baby and he said no way. He thinks he is old.

I am praying for that little girl too! Or another cute little boy would be nice. Either way I am praying! I would like to adopt again, but Freddy doesn't want too. Emily would like another girl close to her age. She will be 10 on Sunday. I guess 7 will have to be enough. For now. (Shhh! Don't tell Freddy I said that!)

Thanks, y'all!!
Today he's calculating. Said we need to figure out the insurance thing. Said if we pull "that thing" this month and it takes 3 mos to get prego, that puts EDD in June... which isn't the whole summer... (random thoughts).
 I think he's going to say yes pretty soon! But I told him the first step is to find out about our Medicaid app (that we put in 2 months ago...) and if the kids qualify so that we know whether or not to apply for the city insurance program. And, he didn't call. (They won't talk to me.) So, we'll see!

Oh please, I hope he says yes!
That way we'd have our little ones close in age since I am expecting in January.

Praying for you! Please say a prayer back for us...DH agreed nearly a year ago that we could try for one more, but so far, we have had no luck. I have a condition that interferes with fertility, but I am on medication for it. I know God is bigger than all of that. I just so long to have one more before I am too old, and I never thought I'd see DH agree to one more, but he has.
Anyway, didn't mean to make this about me...sorry! But I hope everything works out for you the way you want it to!

Praying for you Kari,
I struggled with inferitily for over 10 years before getting pregnant. I had my first son at age 34. I know the hardship that comes with trying.
I too believe that God is powerful and with prayer anything is possible within God's will.

Prayers for sure, Kari!
Dh was calculating yesterday. Went to saying that if we have my IUD out in September, and it takes 3 mos to get prego (the average after IUD removal), that puts me having a baby in August... which sucks. LOL So, he said, maybe we should have it removed sooner than that. :)
And he told me to check into insurance options, and read the website for the birthing center here! I think it's yes in his brain and he's just not said it out loud yet. LOL

Thanks for the prayers, ladies. (DaLynn, I really didn't mean to hijack your thread...know I'm praying for the desires of your heart to come true, too!) :D
Today, Father's Day, was kind of tough for me. Yesterday, while we were out shopping, my mom said how much she wished we had another little one in the family. Neither of my sisters are married, so...I know that comment was meant for me.
Then today, DH wore the t-shirt I made for him on his first Father's Day after Eli was born. It has both boys' footprints on it, and Eli's footprints are SO impossibly tiny, it just kills me how fast they've grown!
It's frustrating that I'm not like some women, who can just decide, hey I want another baby, they stop birth control, and bingo! They're pregnant. We haven't used birth control since Eli was born. But it's all in God's hands.
I really do appreciate the prayers.

Best wishes to you!
And best wishes to you too, Kari!
Yep, it's all in God's hands now! I will be praying for both of you!!!

Thank you, Deena. I am not usually so emotional about this, but I have been so weepy all day. I read your reply and the tears kicked in again! LOL

Well, Kari, you could be pregnant! I always get teary the minute I am. I am truly blessed that I have to try to not get pregnant, but I feel for you and will be praying. Remember that even though you think it's the perfect time, God KNOWS when it's the perfect time.
Praying for you too DaLynn...My hubby wants more, but I've had 3 in 4 1/2 years all by c section and all over 10 lbs, so I really don't want more now!

DaLynn...that is wonderful news! Soon you will be welcomed into the "4 Kid Club"! LOL.
Kari, it breaks my heart to hear of women who struggle with fertility. I have had a few good friends who have...my mom did and a mom I babysat for did also. In fact, my dh knows two men at work who paid thousands so they and their wives could concieve. I have not had that my trial so I don't know how deep the pain can be...but I have been around it. Really makes me remember to be thankful for my pregnancy no matter how much of a pain it can be. I will pray that if God wants you to have another baby you will concieve easily and if He does not that you will gain a true peace over not having anymore.

You ladies are just so sweet.
I meant to post an update yesterday. DH and I talked and we decided that I should go back to the reproductive endocrinologist. I can get all my hormones checked out in-depth, and hopefully, one of the easier, less-expensive options might work for us again. I can't afford (nor do I have the desire to endure again) treatment with injectable medications...each cycle can cost many thousands of dollars, and it's a major emotional roller-coaster.
Anyway, I called yesterday for an appointment, fully expecting it to take several months to get in. But they gave me an appointment for July 28! So, I'll let y'all know how it goes. Thanks again for the prayers and concern.

Thanks, ladies! On the way home from Mom's today (she was having surgery - minor - for permanent birth control LOL), dh and I discussed...
names!
Kari - I've never tried to plan one before. I've never had to "go off" birth control to have a baby. With ds5, I'd been taking the pill for a short time and missed when we couldn't afford it once and BAM. ;) With ds3, I was breastfeeding and hadn't a clue for quite a while.... Ds9 was just a surprise all around. LOL But, if we do this this way, it'll be the first time. I'm a bit nervous about trying to plan it after having had this IUD for 4 years now. My prayers are certainly with you! I can imagine at least some of your heartache - I'd be heartbroken myself. ((((hugs)))) The Lord's plan is perfect - trust in Him! (And help me take my own advice! LOL)

I am due in 5 weeks and I still don't have a name! Hope your naming process goes much easier than mine.

I am due in 14 weeks and we don't have a name either, that is, I don't have a name but my hubby has decided one... Not sure if I am happy with it, but I can't come up with any good alternatives.

LOL! Not so easy in our case, I'm afraid, being a multi-national family it is hard to find a list that fits.
