sbcglobal is blocking email from this site. Comcast and a few others may be as well. You will not receive a confirmation email at all. If you are a new registrant, you will need to go into your user cp (http://www.homeschoolspot.com/usercp.php) and change your email address to something else if you want to be able to complete your registration. Gmail is the best, in my opinion, but yahoo would also work. When they have problems with marking mail as spam, they send it to the bulk folder rather than blocking it all together.

In the mean time, you may want to contact sbcglobal and tell them that they are blocking mail that you want to receive. Some email providers give site owners ways to ensure mail gets through but they have no options for that so I can't do anything on this end at this time.

Thank, Amanda! I've been wondering. We've had the same problem with e-mail notification from the library, but that has finally been worked out. I will contact them and see what can be done on this end. My daughter Rachael is still getting e-mail notification from her site!

I have to apologize to those who are signing up and having this problem because there are so many I haven't been able to respond. I hope everyone sees this post. :(

I just don't have time to look into it any further right now. I am really tired of these places marking legitimate mail as spam.

I think that is quite wide spread. My friend from South America sends me emails every day for the past week and I haven't received any of them. She called me from SA to ask why I wasn't responding.

I wonder why they suddently started blocking though ... did anyone find out how to fix it from home?

Carl is suppose to contact them. He understands what they say better than I do. But of course it hasn't happened yet ! Hopefully I can get him to do it sometime soon!

Just to update: AT&T finally fixed the problem. It turns out they had implemented a new "spam" filter and it was flagging legitimate emails as spam and they blocked our entire server. :x They finally provided a recourse for admins like me so I was able to fill out a form and they removed the block.

It's always possible you could stop receiving emails again, so use the contact us form to let me know if that happens.

Amanda, we really appreciate you! Things were going along fine, then just the last week or so there were a few days when I didn't get notice, and now I am again. Hopefully, AT&T has finally got it straight!!!

Yes we really do ! It must be frustrating have all of us asking questions when there is nothing you personally can do about it and thats why I said thanks!

I moved the site to a new server Saturday night so it's possible our new IP will get blocked. Please give me a heads up if you notice emails stopping. I can fill out the form and get it unblocked more quickly. Thanks!
